There are many things that can force a Person to have to Suddenly..
Evacuate, Flee, Bug Out…?Even if they’d planned on Bugging In..?
Earthquake, Tsunami, Fire/Bushfire 🔥 , Volcanic 🌋… Cyclone/Hurricane 🌀
These may be Natural SHTF Disasters
But there can be Legitimate Enforcement of Evacuation Orders Given…
It such Extreme Circumstances
& Yes whilst you might be able to return?
You have nothing to return too…?
As the Disaster Destroyed it..Then you can have the Manmade/Industrial causing Environmental Damage..?
Something that Can also enforce a Legitimate
Evacuation Order ..But You just need to look at what’s happening in some Places around the World?
War, Civil Unrest/Uprising…???
Where People are Being Forced to Flee..
& Even if they could & Do return ???They have nothing but a Rubble filled 🕳 Hole in the Ground…!!!

Nice thoughts. I think it’s important for multiple people to plan a bug out strategy and location. This way you can bring a community with you. Saftey in numbers and brains/hands lol

That’s so True many heads can collaborate & hopefully come up with more Solutions to Bug Out Evacuation/Exit Plans..
Than what a single person might be able to?
But that also depends on if it’s a Group of People working together to Bug Out?
Or it’s a Single Person Running Lone Wolf 🐺?I’m in the Lone Wolf 🐺 section myself…
But it still takes time to do regular Updates, Reviews & even Revisions of Plans & Alternative Back up Plans too…?

You might be a lone wolf but you have valuable information and that can be passed on to the masses. I agree that community is key however it also brings drama and that’s a hard thing to deal with. What are some good tips for bugging out? I always suggest a secluded and “safer-ish” location for a meet up. I think national parks are great.

Well I only have to walk maybe 16KM (10Miles) & I’m in a National Park.
As For BOLS in an area of about 3000km² a decent Territory to Wander
I have about 30+ BOLS & Boltholes of those 30+ BOLS 15 are seriously established setups, Gardens, Orchards, Pens/Fenced Paddocks for Animals etc, Solar & Wind power water from 3 different Sources Well, Creek & Rain 🌧 Tanks
These 10 BOLS where original established around 30 to 35 years ago… & yes they’re set up as Community/Family sites. The other 20 to 25 BOLS are either Semi-permanent, or Still in very low Construction..
& some of them are Just Basically Holes 🕳 in the Cliffsides Well Caves & Mines Yes I live in a Black Coal mining area..But in other areas there was Gold & silver mining going on..
It’s also a Coastal environment so Salt 🧂 production (Via collecting & then natural Evaporation) for trade & self use..But because there is also a Several Metropolitan regions within the 3000km² Territory I have places I call Boltholes?
Places that can be easily secured but provide plenty of Protection..
For either when Bugging Out.. or Later for having to come into areas for Supplies, Salvage, Scrounge or Scavenge materials/ResourcesApril 26, 2024 at 3:49 pm #24493Dr. Prepper
- Years prepping: 10
- Location: USA
Our state has some decent BOL’s but not many with natural springs. Lakes and creeks though so water filtration is a must in BOB. Some of our locations have cabins so getting their first would be a top priority when deciding to Bug Out. Plus at a few locations there are only a couple roads to access the property so securing should be fairly simple.
